War in the East PBEM aggiornamento
Come potete vedere alla fine il mio avversario è riuscito a tagliarmi fuori dal Caucaso e preme sia a sud che a nord, la mia speranza è di rallentarlo il tempo sufficiente per far arrivare la stagione del fango (manca circa un mese e mezzo). Nel frattempo nella parte centrale continuo a spingerlo indietro in due settori precisi, mentre sposto truppe verso sud, spero di riuscire a deviare parte delle sue forze in questa regione.

Nuovo 4x spaziale la cui uscita è prevista per quest'inverno; ecco le features:
Star Lords is an epic-sized complex and dense 4X strategy game for the PC, set in space where you take the command of one race to join the struggle for supremacy in the galaxy. As the leader of your empire you are to deal with exploring the stars, colonizing new worlds, manage your empire and conquer whoever dares to oppose.
The game is scheduled to release Q4 2013 and is being developed by Arkavi Studios.
Some features
8 major races each with their own ship designs, technologies, unique traits and unique abilities, meaning playing with each race is a different challenge and offers new ways to approach the game.
Big, living universe: In addition to the major powers, independent races and pirate clans also claim the galaxy as their residence; their existence can be an annoyance, or a blessing if you can take advantage of them.
Deep economical and political layer: War isn't the only way to weaken your rivals. Diplomacy, inteligence and trade can be one of many powerful tools that, if used properly, can be very effective as well.
Tactical Turn based combat
Create and customize your own ship designs
Generals: These unique and powerful units evolve as they battle and if used well can be the difference between defeat and victory.
Randomly generated universe, tech tree and units: You will never play the same game twice.
Empire shattering: Unrest might lead rebels to start a civil war which in turn might lead to the creation of a new, independent empire that might grow to rival your own.
Plotting: Secretly finance a war against your rivals in order to weaken them or prepare a surprise joint war along with your allies in a bid to destroy that frighteningly fast growing empire. Beware of spies and whistleblowers though; your plot might be uncovered before you put it in action and the consequences can be dire.
Domestic Policies: Rule your empire as you wish. Turning it into a dystopia, a utopia or something in between, it's up to you.
Human-like AI that doesn't cheat and plays by the same rules as human players, while presenting a constant challenge.

Lan, hot seat and Online multiplayer with matchmaking.

Gränsen - Beyond the Border
Sweden, December 1942, a country of uncertain future on the verge a Nazi German invasion. One dark, fateful night two restless, young Swedish soldiers decide to leave the roadblock checkpoint they've been told to guard in search of an adventure. But when they reach the Norwegian border all they find is a life threatening disaster. The following morning they're officially pronounced missing.
When a rebellious Lieutenant discovers that one of the missing soldiers is his younger brother he decides to take things into his own hands. Recruiting a squadron of like-minded fighters, he plans a secret rescue mission above any official authority. Now they must go beyond the border, behind enemy lines and fight their own war their own way. Beyond The Border is Wartime action/drama at its most intense. Violent and provocative with its own unique modern edge.
Decisamente un film su avvenimenti poco conosciuti, pare che 300 soldati svedesi siano scomparsi vicino al confine Norvegese durante la guerra. Purtroppo il video è in spagnolo.

Rome 2 video di gameplay tattico: romani contro macedoni
Nuovi video di gameplay che fa vedere una battaglia skirmish tra romani e macedoni:
Qualche pensiero su quello che si vede:
1 - visto che stavano facendo una presentazione, mostrare 20 unità invece di 11 non sembra una brutta idea.
2 - la pulsantiera è orrida: capire il senso del pulsante da simboli grafici del genere è tutt'altro che immediato. Lo stesso difetto c'era anche in Shogun 2.
3 - icone delle unità troppo grandi, speriamo ci sia la possibilità di scegliere un hud diverso. I disegni saranno stilosi, ma poco intuitivi.
4 - l'AI non mantiene il minimo ordine, attacca in pieno disordine appena un'unità nemica è a portata. Non che nei precedenti TW fosse diverso, ma il problema appunto è che è uguale.
La dimostrazione ha preso apposta un esercito con unità del cavolo per perdere e far vedere quant'è brava l'AI. In realtà attacca e fa mucchio come al solito.
Comunque bella grafica......
