Deep 4X Playability: Explore, exploit, expand and exterminate in a world of magic, diplomacy, and war.
Hero Units: Recruit powerful, artifact wielding heroes to lead your forces into battle.
Twelve Spell Circles: Focus on depth in a single school, or gain the ability to cast incredibly diverse spells.
Unique Races: Each race offers the ability to create exclusive units, with their own strengths and weaknesses. The factions also play differently allowing players to choose a faction based on their play style.
Settle Powerful Cities: Construct buildings, raise crops, and control production in order to create and support powerful armies.
Multiple Victory Conditions: War is not the only way to conquer the world; make treaties, establish trade routes or use peace as a tool for domination.
Procedurally Generated Universe: Each game can be different. The entire universe is created procedurally using a seed that can be random or specified by the player.
Multiple Planes of Existence: Explore and conquer seven different planes of existence ranging from the Prime Material Plane, which is much like Earth, to the elemental planes that course with pure elemental energies. Find new creatures and new lands for expansion in these unexplored realms.

War in the East - qualche regola random - HQ aerei, riserva e commitment
Gli HQ aerei funzionano come quelli terrestri ma possono condividere con le basi aeree solo i supporti contraerei. La riserva è dove i gruppi aerei possono essere piazzati per addestrarsi e ricomporsi senza il rischio di avere perdite: ho letto spesso che il sovietico dovrebbe mandare nel 1941 subito le sue forze aeree nella riserva tanto sono carne da cannone dato il basso livello di morale e addestramento, ma non ne sono tanto sicuro: per quanto subiscano perdite devastanti, lasciare campo libero all'aviazione tedesca non mi sembra porti vantaggi: nel 1941 il sovietico deve dare tutto quello che può.
Il commitment è un'opzione della scheda di dettaglio delle basi aeree: esso permette di muovere dalla riserva gruppi aerei in modo semiautomatico invece che manuale: usando il parametro di range si stabilisce che tipi di aereo si vuole (a seconda del raggio massimo) mentre l'aviation commitment level stabilisce quanti gruppi muovere. Alla fine premendo il pulsante move, il programma sposta da e in la riserva i gruppi aerei sulla base della scelta.

Annunciato Panzer General Online
Non so se piangere.... vedere un classico trasformato in una macchina truffa soldi free-to-play è davvero devastante.
It's an important milestone year for Blue Byte studio. Blue Byte turns 25 and has decided to turn a classic strategy franchises, Panzer General, into a free to play online game.
ollowing the inspiration of the original franchise, Panzer General Online will be developed as a collaborative effort with Funatics Software. There will be both single player and multiplayer content for the game, with the campaign serving as an involved tutorial. The World War II setting will enable features from the wea such as planes, infantry, and naturally, tanks, as well as feature battles inspired by history. Some of these include Omaha Beach and Monte Cassino.
The game's multiplayer will challenge players to maintain strategic control of units. Players will be able to collect and trade miniatures in order to customize their armies.
Closed beta is expected to begin sometime near the end of the year. Registration is already open at www.panzergeneral.com
