Real Warfare 2 provato in multi il mio mod
Ieri sera ho fatto una partita in multi a RW2 Northern Crusades con il mio mod realismo http://warforgame.blogspot.it/2012/05/realism-mod-per-real-warfare-2-northern.html ; avevamo in campo quasi 70 unità tra tutti e due e abbiamo giocato benissimo senza nemmeno un po' di lag.
Napoleon's Campaigns II cambia titolo
A seguito della mezza rottura con l'Ageod, Napoleon's Campaigns II è stato rinominato March of the Eagles e sarà sotto il marchio Europa Universalis. Qui la nuova descrizione:
"Take command as any European country in the year 1805 and steer it through the turbulent period of the Napoleonic wars. As one of the great powers seek to gain dominance of the continent or as a minor country try to choose the winning side. Featuring a streamlined unit system, giving you a number of basic building blocks to construct your armies from, but giving you unprecedented flexibility in army construction as the balances of unit types give the armies new roles and abilities. A highly flexible victory system that sees Britain and France pitted against each other for dominance over the continent, but should one stumble another country can pick up the baton. Each country has different paths to Victory, taking the Eagles into Spain and Russia over France its best ways to win but your path is yours. As for the other countries your routes to Victory lie in several directions, do you ally with France or oppose her, both routes are open to you. The destiny of Europe is in your hands, what will you do?"

Che dire? Se quando lo seguiva la Ageod, pur con un altro motore poteva avere un qualche interesse per me, ora non sarà altro che l'ennesimo clone di EUIII.

Il prossimo Total War sarà Rome Total War 2?

Come al solito l'entusiasmo è diviso, da un lato chi non vede l'ora da un altro chi avrebbe voluto un proseguimento nell'era moderna post napoleonica, dall'altro chi ormai data la scarsa moddabilità post Empire è critico con la serie. D'altro canto le varie iniziative CA per la moddabilità in Shogun 2 non si capisce se siano sincere o stiano solo pasturando per far intendere che il nuovo Rome sarà altrettanto moddabile (cosa di cui dubito). Si è anche inteso che la Sega mal sopporta che i TW occupino un numero elevato di ore-utente, quando preferirebbe un più forte rateo di consumo in modo che l'utente passi subito al prodotto successivo.

Nuova patch per Naval War Arctic Circle
Uscita oggi una nuova patch, ecco il change log
Scenarios:
- Added: "Estonian Dawn" mission (forum competition winner)
Database:
- Added: Chaff to air superiroty fighters (Su-27, Su-35, Jas-39).
- Added: "IsAmphibiousAssault" role for Wasp and Mistral.
- Updated: Tweaked autumn temperatures.
Gameplay:
- Fixed: AI automatic and HighLevelOrder ASW operations.

Ancora non si intravedono soluzioni per il problema del freeze della grafica. Sembra che gli sviluppatori non riescano a riprodurlo.
