Paradox si scusa per aver offerto gratuitamente Take Command gratuitamente

Pare che l'offerta gratuita tramite Void di TC2M tramite Gamersgate che avevo riportato qualche tempo fa, fosse illecita in quanto Paradox non aveva i diritti per fare ciò, ne aveva raggiunto l'accordo con il detentore dei diritti (MadMinute Games). Pare che la Matrix, che ha un accordo con la MadMinute Games (aka Norbsoftdev di Scourge) abbia aiutato molto a far valere i diritti di quest'ultimo.

Turbo Tapes viene silurata da Paradox

Turbo Tapes, lo studio creatore di Naval War Arctic Circle è stata silurata da Paradox, dopo il fallimento totale del gioco, afflitto da bug irrisolti da più di un anno e da indubbio carenze nelle vendite. Probabilmente anche la DLC rilasciata qualche mese fa si è rilevata un flop, indubbiamente perchè i molti afflitti da bug non l'hanno presa (e pare fosse anche una DLC piuttosto scadente).

Uscito CKII The Republic

E' uscita la nuova DLC per Crusader Kings 2: The Republic, che appunto introduce la gestione degli stati repubblica nel gioco. Assieme sono uscite due DLC con le facce di personaggi mediterranei e i suoni mediterranei.

Molti commentano che è assurdo far pagare una DLC per una gestione che sarebbe dovuta essere inclusa nel gioco base.

Arctic Circle freeza ancora...

Ho provato ieri sera, ma in effetti ora ci mette solo più tempo a freezare: sembra abbia parecchi problemi di refresh delle immagini 3d e penso che il freeze sia anche legato al passaggio dell'immagine 3d nel main screen. Comunque è incredibile che un baco del genere e così diffuso sia senza risposta da mesi.

Forse risolto freeze Naval War Arctic Circle?

Leggevo sul forum Paradox che una fantomatica patch installata da Steam sembra aver risolto il malefico problema del freeze. Nessuna conferma ufficiale di questa patch, ma proverò ancora il gioco per vedere se è davvero vero. Chissà mai se potrò finalmente giocarci dopo un anno?

Alarico su Strategy Games Italia ha segnalato questa news riguardo la prossima dlc per CK2: The Republic, che finalmente permetterà di giocare con stati non dinastici.

Rilasciato Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition

E' stata rilasciata dalla Paradox la versione Enhanced di Sword of the Stars II.

Paradox Interactive released today Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition, which contains Lords of Winter and the first expansion End of Flesh. The Enhanced Edition comes packed with all the previous DLCs as well, such as the new avatars, new combat music, alternate voices, skins, and new badges for your warships.

Players must customize and amass their fleets, explore the galaxy, research new alient technologies, and expand your empire. Combat is waged through a mixture of real-time skirmishes and classic turn-based strategy.

Also in the Enhanced Edition is a new playable Faction: the Loa, a race of Artificial Intelligence that were once slaves now return to seek revenge. Loa ships can shape-shift into new ships for any purpose needed. Being a hardy and tough race, they can colonize on any rocky planet as well.

The full feature list in Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition include:
Play as the Loa, with over 120 new ship sections and their own unique drive system – the Neutrino Pulse Gate
Over 25 additional technologies, including a new Cybernetic Tech Tree

Naval War: Arctic Circle - Operation Tarnhelm rilasciato oggi

La nuova dlc per Naval War: Arctic Circle è stata rilasciata oggi. Data la massa di utenti incazzati per i malfunzionamenti del gioco non so quanto sia stato saggio rilasciare una dlc che metà dei giocatori non comprerà.

In ogni caso ricordo che il gioco, non importa dove lo prendiate, va attivato su Steam.
