Nuova DLC per Crusader Kings II prevista per il 16 Dicembre; Way of Life permetterà al giocatore di aggiungere nuovi elementi RPG al proprio personaggio.


Fans of Crusader Kings II will be happy to note that the expansion, Way of Life, will be launching on December 16th. The expansion contains ten different focuses and gives players more of an RPG feel to their RTS in the form of new diplomacy options and more.


Set a Focus - Give your rulers a “way of life” by assigning them a Focus that will give an immediate boost to their skills and help shape the course of their development through events and decisions – new and old. There are ten different Focuses available to your characters:

• Rulership – Be a better king!
• Business – Gold is good
• Hunting – Kill the beast!
• War – What’s yours is mine
• Family – the most important thing, right?
• Carousing - ahem
• Seduction – double ahem
• Intrigue – sneaky, sneak
• Scholarship – We love to learn
• Theology – Do it for the big guy upstairs

Nuova DLC prevista per Crusader Kings II

Una nuova DLC sembra essere prevista per Crusader Kings II, che sposta all'indietro la data di inizio all'epoca di Carlo Magno. Su Netwargaming  un giocatore ha trovato questa mappa delle culture:

Sembrerebbe che il gioco venga anticipo ad almeno l'inizio dell' VIII secolo, ci sono ancora i Visigoti, mentre l'invasione araba della Spagna è del 711 d.C.

Nuova DLC gratuita per Wargame Red Dragon: The Millionth Mile

E' stata rilasciata una DLC gratuita per Wargame Red Dragon,  The Millionth Mile che aggiunge nuove unità. Prosegue la politica delle dlc piccole gratuite e gioco nuovo ogni anno a prezzo pieno. Francamente spero la serie sia arrivata al termine perchè davvero adesso non ha più nulla da dire.

Bohemia Interactive 2014-2015 Roadmap per Arma 3

La Bohemian ha presentato la propria roadmap per Arma 3 per il 2014-15:

sono previste sia aggiornamenti liberi che miglioreranno l'esperienza di gioco (come un boot camp per i neofiti) sia DLC per nuovi contenuti e nuove features. Le features dovrebbero essere libere per evitare uno split della comunità mentre i contenuti saranno la parte a pagamento.

Sono previste per il momento: Arma 3 Helicopters e Arma 3 Marksmen; inoltre è prevista per il 2015 una nuova massiccia espansione per il gioco.

Annunciata nuova DLC per Alea Jacta Est, Hannibal: Terror of Rome; queste le campagne incluse:

• The First Illyrian War(230-228 BC) sees Rome opposing the aggressive Illyrian pirates and the Greek cities of the South in the Adriatic Sea. To contain the pirates activity, military forces were sent by the Achaean League and even Rome. For the first time the Roman consuls focus on the East.
• The Cisalpine War(225-222 BC) confronts Rome with a ferocious Celtic tribe. It’s time for revenge as these Gallic warriors sacked Rome in 390 BC.
• The Second Punic War(219-201 BC) is a major campaign that started even before the clash between Rome and Carthage; when Roman legions fight in the Second Illyrian War, and Carthage finishes its conquest of Hispania…
• Cannae(216-201 BC) begins with panic in the Roman army after its catastrophic defeat at the Battle of Cannae. The scenario starts with the withdrawal of Syracuse, Capua and Taranto from the war in Italy. The situation is critical!
• Scipio Africanus (211-201 BC) narrates the Spanish campaigns of the best Roman general of the war, and his final fight against Hannibal in Africa.

Hannibal at the Gates Campaign Pack announced for Rome II

03/13/2014 SAN FRANCISCO & LONDON – March 13, 2014 – SEGA® of America, Inc. and SEGA® Europe, Ltd. today announced that Total War™: ROME II will receive its second major Campaign Pack DLC March 27, 2014.

Dropping players into the Western Mediterranean at the outbreak of the second Punic War, Hannibal at the Gates features a new campaign map focused on the tinderbox geopolitical situation that brought two ancient world superpowers to all-out war; with sworn rivals Scipio and Hannibal at the very heart of the conflict.

Five playable factions will feature a wealth of new units. Main protagonists Rome and Carthage will benefit from a new civil tech tree based around diplomacy, while the challenge in the shadow of these mighty empires for newcomers Syacuse, the Arevaci and the Lusitani will be formidable.

In addition to this, another significant free content update for ROME II will also drop soon, benefitting all players regardless of whether they own any DLC. Details will be revealed in the next episode of community TV show Rally Point, coming soon.

ROME II itself has continued to sell strongly since its launch in September last year, DLC and free content being released regularly. Una nuova DLC per Crusader Kings II è stata annunciata dalla Paradox: Rajas of India. Dal nome già si capisce che la mappa sarà ampliata per includere l'India.

Annunciata la nuova DLC per EU IV, Wealth of Nations.

La nuova DLC dovrebbe avere le seguenti features:

• The Invisible Hand of the Market: You can act covertly to instigate trade conflicts among the competition, stifling income and leaving yourself atop the economic heap.
• Seize the Seas: Hiring privateers can damage enemy shipments and cripple their trade, but risks retaliation in the form of open warfare if you are caught.
• Capitalize: Empires can designate a specific port as their trade capital, separate from their national capital, and strengthen local trade routes through the use of inland trade nodes.
• Monopolize and Mobilize: Form an East India Company and reach faraway trade partners with an unstoppable shipping concern.
