Wargame AirLand Battle nuova DLC Magna Carta

Nuova DLC gratuita per Wargame AirLand Battle, Magna Carta. Questa DLC contiene nuove mappe e 12 nuove unità, che si aggiungono al bilanciamento tramite patch fatto qualche giorno fa.

Video con Gustav Line e Market Garden

Sabato mi sono tolto lo sfizio di prendere sia Gustav Line che Market Garden della serie Combat Mission. Per il momento ci ho giocato poco, anche perchè non mi esaltano le campagne del singolo (sembrano fatte apposta per essere iperdifficili) sono più per il multi. Comunque ho fatto dei video, non che ci sia molta differenza rispetto al gioco base, si tratta di aggiunte non di rivoluzioni.

Annunciato un nuovo Call of Duty per l'anno prossimo

A new Call of Duty game will launch in 2014, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick has confirmed during an earnings call discussing the company's recent financial results for the quarter ended September 30.

No details about the new Call of Duty title was provided. Call of Duty studios Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games are believed to be working on new entries in the series. Whether it'll be "Black Ops III" or something else entirely remains to be seen.

Sledgehammer's new Call of Duty game--aiming for "hyper-realism"--will reportedly feature a "fresh new AAA aural experience." Meanwhile, Treyarch created the Black Ops sub-brand.

Also during the call, Kotick said Activision continues to work with Chinese Internet giant Tencent on Call of Duty Online, a free-to-play entry in the series in development for China.

Call of Duty: Ghosts, developed by Infinity Ward, was released Tuesday on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will follow later this month at launch. The game generated $1 billion at retail on launch day. The $1 billion for Call of Duty: Ghosts reflects sell-in – that is, the number of copies of Call of Duty: Ghosts shipped to retailers. Put another way, retailers expect that this number of copies will provide them with a sensible balance of risk between overstock and running out of copies in individual stores.

Total War – Rome 2 : DLC Blood and Gore

Ci risiamo, dopo Shogun 2 anche Rome 2, dopo aver fatto calmare le acque sull'indegno rilascio, inizia a sfornare DLC grafiche a prezzi assurdi. Ognuno è padrone dei propri soldi, ma certo per un po' di sangue e scene da Hollywood più di 2 euro sono tantini.

Alea Jacta Est nuova patch e rilasciato Parthian Wars

Oggi è stata rilasciata la nuova patch per Alea Jacta Est assieme alla nuova dlc Parthian Wars che propone 5 nuovi scenari con ambientazione le guerre romano-partiche.

Ecco il change log:

We are releasing the v.1.03a Update for Alea Jacta Est and Birth of Rome. The v.1.03a Update fixes some Database and Scenario bugs, features a new Exe. and improvements in the gameplay and above all allows compatibility with Parthian Wars.

The Roman Civil War (Caesar vs Pompey) scenario:
- Lagid armies will be unlocked if Caesar invades Egypt (will prevent later historical chain of options related to Pompey fleeing to Egypt)
- Pompey dilemna message broadcasted
- Fix to consequences of Pompey strategic choice if not chosen by the player
- Small fix to consequences of the "Pompey goes West" choice: loyatly will now be increased by 25 in Hispania and by 10 in Africa
- Fix to double Galatian leader (Kastor)

- Small fix to Severus choice consequences if not chosen by the player

Annunciato Crusader Kings II: Sons of Abraham

Nuova DLC in vista per Crusader Kings 2; Sons of Abraham implementerà più complesse meccaniche riguardo la religione e il suo impatto sulla politica (sia per i cristiani che per gli islamici). La data di rilascio è per metà novembre.

Primo Campaign Episode per Arma 3

Bohemian ha annunciato il primo campaign episode per Arma 3, dal titolo "Survive". Nella sostanza sarà un free DLC rilasciato il 31 ottobre.

“Our first campaign episode, ‘Survive’, introduces players to Ben Kerry, a regular soldier who’s part of a NATO peacekeeping mission in the Mediterranean. Following a couple of years of uneasy cease-fire, this US-led deployment is now in the process of a staged drawdown. The vacuum left by withdrawing forces is being rapidly filled by the opposing CSAT faction, creating the conditions for, one might say, a flashpoint”, explains Jay Crowe, Creative Director on Arma 3.

“Of course, it's not just about our own story, but another opportunity to provide yet more building blocks for the platform - new weapons, animations, 3D objects, scripted modules - each designed to grant content creators even greater freedom to create and share their own content. Looking forward to the forthcoming episodes, we’ll continue to expand Arma 3’s sandbox with additions such as new vehicles.”

Arma 3 features the large open terrains of ‘Altis’ (270 km²) and ‘Stratis’ (20 km²), 12 singleplayer showcases, 3 factions showcases, 9 multiplayer scenarios, 10 firing drill challenges, more than 20 vehicles and 40 weapons, 5 factions, the scenario editor and modding support. The singleplayer campaign is deployed across 3 free DLC episodes after release.

Company of Heroes 2 - Theater of War DLC Case Blue Trailer

Trailer per la prima DLC per Company of Heroes 2, Theatre of War Case Blue.


Il gioco su Metacritic ha ricevuto una stroncatura piena da parte degli utenti, quasi tutti Russi. Il mio contatto, ucraino, mi dice che il vero motivo è che l'esercito sovietico non è forte come volevano, e nell'impeto del nazionalismo hanno fatto coalizione contro il gioco. Qualcuno l'ha provato? I sovietici sono davvero troppo deboli?

Graviteam Tactics: Shilovo 1942 rilasciato

Su Gamersgate trovate l'ultima DLC rilasciata per Graviteam Tactics, Shilovo 1942.

Ecco le features:

1) New Area near Voronezh, village Shilovo, 80 sq.km wide.

2) Two new operations at the beginning of July 1942, one for Red Army, one for the Wehrmacht (13 turns).

3) Troops:

- Wehrmacht - 24 Pz (one batallions from 21, 26 Inf Reg and 24 Pz Reg);
- Red Army - 2,3/498 Rifle Reg, 2 coys from practice battalion of 232 Rifle Div,
441 Tank Bn from 110 Tank Bde, 1/425 Arty Reg, parts of 16 Destr Bde and platoon from 180 Tank Bde,
1/687 Rifle Reg from 141 Rifle Div.

Questo sarebbe un gioco davvero perfetto se avesse anche il multiplayer. Queste dlc sono vitali per lo studio per sopravvivere, ma l'AI dopo un po' scoccia.

Total War Rome 2 piano delle prime DLC

Annunciato il piano delle prime DLC post-release:

With the September 3rd release of Total War: Rome II getting ever-closer, the team at The Creative Assembly has been presumably putting the finishing touches on the game. Now, we are getting a peek at the post-launch plans, including the announcement of more free DLC coming along with the first paid DLC.

So what can we expect? Today, the Seleucid Empire was announced as a free DLC pack to be released sometime in October. That's in addition to release DLC, and the preorder DLC that have already been announced. Historically, the Seleucid Empire was established following the death of Alexander the Great, dividing that conqueror's empire in two.

The game's first paid DLC was also announced, with Culture packs on the way. The first, The Nomadic Tribes Culture pack will feature the Royal Scythians, Roxolani, and Massagetae and will go on sale in October as well.

Graviteam Tactics – Shilovo 1942

Annunciata una nuova piccola dlc per Graviteam Tactics, Shilovo 1942; quindi si torna al 1942 come ambientazione. Non penso sia un male, ma penso che il gioco dovrebbe sviluppare il multi il prima possibile, 10.000 piccole dlc saranno un salutare riempitivo tra  una dlc grossa e l'altra, ma il gioco farà il botto solo quando il multi sarà disponibile.Comunque questa dlc è prevista per l'autunno.

Rilasciata una DLC\patch gratuita per Wargame: AirLand Battle. Ecco le features:

VOX POPULI, the first free DLC from Wargame AirLand Battle, has been developed specifically to respond to the demands of the community… and has just landed with a whole arsenal of new features!

“CONQUEST” mode makes a great comeback in Multiplayer mode and against the AI, offering a range of new objectives to commanders all over the world. Unlike DESTRUCTION mode, victory in CONQUEST doesn’t depend on the destruction of the enemy forces, but on your ability to capture and hold more territory than your opponent. All the existing maps in Multiplayer are of course playable in this mode.
